Our selection of beer

As the name of the building suggests, the Zipfer Bierhaus has to do with beer. In 1907 the Zipf Brewery from the small Upper Austrian region Hausruckviertel acquired the building and thus named it Zipfer Bierhaus.

In the meantime, the brewery itself no longer owns the house; it now belongs to a private person. However, the iconic and traditional character of our tavern hasnot changed since. On the contrary, what has remained is the name that stands for the last existing, genuine tavern in Salzburg’s city center.
